Abby Labar

Side note, I hate the takes along the lines of "So what? Men get away with it all the time. Why is it such a big deal when a woman does it?". First of all, it has been a big deal when a male does this. Imagine a male reporter who is engaged taking advantage of his access to sleep around with married women and taking advantage of them and/or others. Sounds very familiar to many that have gotten in trouble recently. Also, a reporter should always be trustworthy and their integrity shouldnt have to be called into question. Especially a TV reporter who is in the spotlight. They represent that organization and the broadcast. This shouldnt be swept under the rug just because she is female.

The TRUTH Behind the Abby Labar Ian Cole Affair

Damn that dude spent 12 minutes talking about something that could be summed up in 12 seconds?

I actually kindof pity her because she did work hard to get to where she was at and basically nuked her career with some bad bad choices.   She is hot so she will rebound somewhere, thats just how it is

Guy has a point, though. Although both Cole and Abby made their choices as adults, the reality is this:

She lost her job and blew up her career while Cole gets a new, bigger contract, moves his family and the only possible consequences he faces are from his family and friends, and those certainly are not a given.

    • Oh yeah the QB is huge in this stuff. Imagine what Smitty could have done with a surgeon back there. And some more offensive minded head coaches. It was always run heavy. He was one of the best I ever saw and people didn’t know who he was outside of Carolina, for the longest time.
    • For sure, any college scout that touted Bryce Young as worth the first overall pick, needs to be gone. I don’t think the college scouts are so much the issue, I think it is the minds of the decision makers that have the most influence.  If this draft produces, and Morgan was really in charge, maybe Tepper will develop some respect and stay back and let people work.
    • I just am not aware of regimens that offer increased velocity which is the biggest weakness I can see in Young (that needs addressing right now). Is it possible to do? Who has done it that we can see as an example? I guess I am saying before I believe weights will give him added zip on the ball, I would want proof that it works.    I think weight room would help him not be pulled down by two fingers, even if they are big strong DL fingers. They are still fingers controlling 185 lbs. So that needs to be addressed but it is a secondary issue behind his footwork and ball velocity. It might help too, in allowing him to retain some velocity while not putting 100% effort into throws. Which should help his ‘deep’ ball.  I agree they can’t fix his footwork on those pistol or gun snaps where he slowly goes backwards and does the tippy toe thing.  Maybe putting him under center and taking the option of that type of drop away from him, forcing him into the classic under center style. Drop and plant and throw. Maybe that would help get around it.
