Nick Wilson Gone from WFNZ

Recommended Posts

I guess this is kinda old news, but I just tuned into WFNZ to realize he’s gone. Heading back to Ohio. I bashed him for groveling over Mayfield, but he wasn’t the worst sports personality that Charlotte has ever had (Stan Norfleet). Although, it would be nice to actually have some native North Carolinians doing sport talk for Charlotte for once.

I forgot about Marc “with a C” James lol

He got put on blast by a woman who had had about enough of his microdick fragility and his numerous perv attempts that kept getting shot down. She ain’t interested move on pal.

Didn’t he brag about going to the Atlanta market just to get canned sometime later?

There’s a lot of stuff that’s come out about him since being in Charlotte. He isn’t like a criminal or anything but he is certainly is your typical entitled narcissist. A complete loser who thinks he is some world famous journo. People I know that have worked with him said he and Frank Garcia are both dickheads.

I know he was fired from Atlanta and I think TB area. One was for completely fanboying over some Mets players and trying to get their autographs. Unprofessional. He is also tiptoeing around election conspiracy stuff on social which is another huge red flag.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
