Last year we kept shuffling the OL around. This year we have a new OC and OL coach and we're still shuffling the OL around like crazy. Makes sense that the remaining common denominator, who just happens to be the head coach, would be the cause of it.

Bingo, Campen isn’t an idiot.

Rhule still has his fingerprints all over the OL and that’s not a good thing.

One of the best things about being there was $2.50 mango cart and pernicious. Wish I hadn’t had to drive us back to CLT.


Girls ended up having a good time too.

Rhule is a micromanager of all things football.  It’s not a secret.  Rhule’s fanboys like to forget that fact.

I thought Sam looked fine for where he is (former top 5 pick, awful past team/coaching, with the panthers for just over a year). I still think he has potential.

Baker was largely bad, but I attribute that to being so new with the Panthers and having so much catch up to do. He obviously oozes with escapability, gamebreaker talent and a live arm, but his decision making needs a lot of work. 
 

Didn’t see enough of Matt to get a read. His ball flies with zip like Darnold/Mayfield’s.

PJ definitely had the best day. Had the least reps, but the most successful outcomes.

Devils advocate: What if it’s because he’s actually playing to his potential and he legit beats out Baker/Matt and doesn’t crumble after 4 weeks like last year?

      Insightful and reinforces the narrative which in my mind are based on fact. 1. BY has talent and there is legitimate reason to believe he has potential to play at this level and be successful although I’m not sure what successful means just yet. Main factors contributing to the uncertainty are: 2.  The OL and receivers sucked and didn’t help last year.  3.  Footwork and mechanics need to drastically improve alas it greatly highlights his limiting factors which are size and arm strength.   #2 was addressed on paper (hundreds of millions pieces of paper).  Better line and protection. Better receivers.   #3 is being worked on based on Canales talking points and coaching.    We should know what he is capable of and what his ceiling is this season.  I hope for the best but I am prepared for the worst.
