Yeah okay..  Campen has a built in excuse already and no other QBS plays preseason behind 3rd and 4th string Olines..

Got it..

Who has a 63 million dollar contract Campen or Rhule? Campen isn't in charge of practice and deciding which quarterbacks get reps with each group. And Matt Rhule was mishandling the OL months before he got here. No way he gets a pass from the fanbase if the oline is crap this season though so you need not worry about that.

Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey couldn't say enough about how Sam Darnold has handled losing the starting quarterback job to Baker Mayfield. "He's been somebody from the inside looking out, who has to take a lot of crap from a lot of different areas. He hasn't said a word, shows up every day, does his job, focuses on what he can focus on and controls what he can control. It's admirable . . .I have nothing but respect for him.''

You're not giving him a pass on anything.. Toilet paper, the way he holds a toothbrush his choice of soft drinks anything..

And its blind hate at this point that you don't see Campen has control over Oline decision and Mcadoo is running offensive practice with Rhule to the side..

Reality check frank..

If Rhule was running things the same way he did last year.. Bozeman, And Ikey would have been giving the Job with no competition.. Like Eflin and Eriving were last year.. Which we all bitched about..

Elflein Erving Jordan and Daley are all still on the roster. You're latching onto a position coach who will be out of a job same as anyone else if Rhule fails. It's like us bitching about the special teams coordinators all those years under Rivera when our ST was dogshit no matter who was the position coach.

Why wouldn't they.. Did you just start watching pro football??

2 have contracts that would leave dead money if they were cut.. And Reality is you can't replace a whole position group in 1 offseason.. Asked Gettelmen how that worked out.. They've replaced most of the starting Oline but you need depth right?? Also no team in the league has 10 starting quality Olinemen.. Name 1 team who doesn't take a dip if they go through Oline injuries??

No I'm latching on to a HC who was forced to change his staff and coaching style and now see signs that he isn't Micromanaging them and letting them do their jobs...

Not to mention with the exception of Elfy. They are all slotted to be backups does he think the every team in the NFL has average to above average starters as backups at every postion?

31 other teams didn't field the worst OL in the league last season. All this talk about the quality of our OL depth will be put to the test at the expense of Baker's health. I damn sure hope you are right bud.

This is the stupidest post you've done..

Please rethink this opinion..

Just because you have the 32 ranked Oline (which I don't think we did and your spewing false stats AGAIN!!) BUT IF WE DO.. IT Doesn't mean Olines 15 thru 31 are good and don't have depth issues..

Again Joe Burrows was sacked 61 x last year..

But even then you can't replace a whole position group in 1 offseason..

At one point in the season yes there is no doubt we had a bottom 3 oline. Sam made horrific decisions with the football but he often had the middle of the line in his lap within a second. If your go to tactic is going to be to call people stupid you could at least attempt basic grammar and spelling. Joe Burrow (no s) is one of the best young quarterbacks in the game now. That's what real talent can do for you and mask deficiencies. It's what Cam did for the Panthers and Ron Rivera for several years. We'll see how far these excuses fly if Baker is eventually having a tough time back there. Hopefully he won't be.

We in fact DID not have the 32 ranked offensive line, not by pffs rankings not by sacks allowed and not by espns block win %... all he does is spew bullshit without fact checking.

    • This is huge may not be a trap game but this plays a major part in what they want to do. If we can get some pressure on Sam we know what he does with pressure coming hit and heavy. Also we may be able to take the top off their defense a backup safety trying to stop TMac or Cooker over the top or forcing him to play the backend should allow us to run the ball somewhat effectively. Either they allow some runs or we take some shots and if Bryce and whoever can connect deep we’ll be in business for another big time win against a top notch opponent. Might not be a trap game but health travel game plans all play a major role in each weeks game plan and this week might be leaving our way. We’re missing some replaceable pieces they’re missing key anchors to the offense and defense major difference time to solidly ourselves at one of the top teams in the nfc tomorrow fellas buckle up.
    • Yes.  If I am not mistaken, we need to sign Coker to the ERFA tender and insist that XL spends his spring and summer at a WR camp and not Coon huntin on his four wheeler.  XL was raw when we picked him--which is why I wanted to go another direction--and we are seeing how raw.  He is basically learning a position.     The Panthers will make their move in 2026 to be an NFL powerhouse behind Bryce.  Bryce needs intelligent WRs who catch the ball.  That said, we need a solid #2 to challenge XL and make cutting him easy, if necessary.  A #2 WR (intented to be a #1 by now) with under 400 yards is embarrassing.   On offense, you have to ask, "Where can we get better?"  In my view, #2 WR, TE (although they are improving) and maybe C (again, if we re-sign Mays, he is trending up and at 26, entering his prime--I say stay with him and find competition later in the draft (not good for C).  OL depth maybe?  In other words, XL is a glaring weak spot.
