A lot of us were. Aggressive hedge fund mentality with ample minority owner experience with the Steelers? I mean on paper he looked ideal.

So did a lot of the biggest draft busts.

Yeah.  Tampa has been top 3 in stopping the run the last 2 years.  I suspect they still are.   The run sets up Dallas’ O.  

Dallas didn’t play the Browns.  They played TB/Tom Brady and it was a FG fest on both sides. 

Dallas has one of the best OLs in the NFL and a talented QB.   Payton would pick that over a rebuild IMO.

No free agent can help us at this point. It’s wasted cap, and the problems are much deeper than an unsigned vet when the season has already started.
