I prefer individual game threads. But then, I'd also like to see them disappear within a few days after the game. No need to leave them up for weeks after the game.

That’s four players gone, a good amount to go.

If I had to guess, I’d say the roster will be (if they keep 23):

Svechnikov - Kotkaniemi - Necas

Stastny - Staal - Fast

Marty - Drury - Kase

Stepan

 

Slavin - Burns

Skjei - Pesce

De Haan - Bear

Coghlan

Chatfield

 

Andersen

Raanta

 

If we only go with 22, I expect Chatfield to go down but he’ll obviously come back up in the event of an injury or if Bear gets traded. I also fully expect Noesen to be the first call up once Kase inevitably gets hurt.

Imagine the level of expectation and pressure on the kid named Bobby Orr to succeed in the NHL. Parents did him no favors...

They don’t disappear do they?  We can all create game threads I guess. Team effort!  
 

I wonder if NCFan will be back this year to annoy everyone?

It’s just one game in Tampa I thought?

Home game tonight vs. Tampa and then Wednesday’s game in Tampa was postponed.

      The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.

      I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.

      lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
