Damn, Bostic. What a tiny hole in the wall. Also home to the now defunct Green Acres Music Hall, the great bluegrass venue of all time. It was the Red Rocks of bluegrass. The place you just HAD to play if you were anybody.

Neat little place but that was one scary dude hiding out in there. As a person born and raised in the NC mountains, I would like to point out that the guy moved here from up north... just sayin'.

The birthplace of Abraham Lincoln also!

Here's the latest. Neo-Nazi roommate kills two other Neo-nazi roommates, claims he saved thousands.

Hmm, four young Neo-Nazis move in together, have lots of firearms, too much free time and, oh yeah, explosives in the garage. What could go wrong?

And it's in... Florida, of course. I'll never run short of material as long as we still have Florida.

Brand new video up. I'll tell ya, if it wasn't for the state of Florida, I'd have half as many stories to do...

And hey, if you are tuning in to watch these, I really appreciate it. I'm still pretty new to writing scripts like this, it's a whole different skillset than newspaper work.

Unfortunate ending of a young man's life for no reason. Mr. Hughes possessed no serious threat, could barely walk and did nothing to provoke the shooter.

The shooter, on the other hand, made his mind up on the opposite side of the parking lot when he pulled the weapon out, strode across the lot, then aggressively walked up on the victim and shot him.

Here's to a 2nd degree murder conviction, hopefully.

    • I wonder if the Hornets view Kon and McNeeley more as forwards and plan to ship off Green/Okogie/Smith for center help. I hope they don’t plan to ship off Sexton as I like what he brings to the team. (2) G - Ball, Mann, Simpson (two-way) (3) G - Sexton, Dinwiddie, Connaughton (3) F - Miller, Knueppel, McNeeley, James (two-way) (3) F - Bridges, Williams, Salaun (3) C - Diabate, Kalkbrenner, Plumlee
    • 3 main reasons he was better in 2023 and none of them concern me for his NFL prospects 1. Totally new coaching staff that was a massive downgrade and had god awful play calling and designs, the entire fan base was ready to run the coaching staff out of town a month into their first season and the play caller ended up getting changed because it was so bad. 2. Along with the staff downgrade, his QB played significantly worse after being the Pac 12 Freshman of the Year in 2023.  Constantly missed T-Mac when he was wide open, lost out on a number of TDs and a good amount of yardage, half the time T-Mac still almost made miraculous catches on the bad passes too. 3. He hurt his ankle over the summer and missed all of fall camp only to return to practice a few days before the season started and I think he had to deal with it all season long and was slightly limping at times mid season too, but kept fighting through it to still be a 1st team All American.
    • Good luck to Burns. He’s fine as a third pairing defensemen but Rod is too stubborn to do that.
