McAdoo is just not a good OC. CMC had some good OC's here in the past that could take advantage of his skillsets(hell Brady was much better than McAdoo, for that matter).

He is with an OC that will use him properly. Our OL is set up for a brusing runner like Foreman, so it's a win-win. Especially considering the draft capital we gained.

All it is gonna take is CMC getting dinged up and all the butthurt about him leaving with disappear.

My issue is I see the same mistake we made with Steve Smith.

Unless we get a hof talent with one of those picks we lose.

IDK what it is with Huddlers and getting hung up on race. First it was Cam and now CMC.

Ya'll need to dial it down a notch.

All I said was there is a small group of people who are clearly irrationally infatuated with him and there seems to be a connection between the fact he is the only player of his shade playing the position the way he has. And the more someone like Catsfan69 loses his mind over all this the more it is confirmed to me. That flagfootball guy just came right out and said it and Catsfan69 pie'd the post so I mean seems pretty cut and dry to me. I wished McCaffrey well when he was traded. It's the superfans who have lashed out about all this it's not like we traded a franchise quarterback here. It's time to move on!

He is a HOF talent who knows if he'll play long enough to be one.

Players of his level don't grow on trees.

Like I said he's pacing for his 3rd 2000 yd season. All our backs combined can't do that.

I believe in keeping players that I wouldn't trade anyone else for. ( there's no back I would trade him for)

Not looking forward to seeing the 49ers beat the Panthers in the playoffs over the next 6 to 8 seasons. The Panthers now have to plan on building a defense that can stop the 49ers and the Rams offense.

Good job Fitterer

Haha because of the CMC trade hahahaha fantastic take

    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
    • my understanding is a big time throw, could be a 5-10 yard slant to Adam Thielen given AT isn't going to separate.
