UNC is 1-15 from 3.  Holy shet the dream ends tonight folks

Edit 1-17…Hubert just watches the action calmly

Well, he pulled Love for Dunn in the first half and Dunn laid an egg except for his block. I guess he was coaching them to miss wide open shots. Also, he and Lebo tried to get these kids to work with them on their jumpers last season. These weird kids were talking about shooting coaches and Hubert said look in the rafters. The two highest shooting percentages in the history of the university belong to two of your coaches. This year everyone worked with NBA trainers in the offseason and no one can shoot. According to you internet coaches, the missing of wide open shots is on the coach.

All I know is he lit into them at halftime. The adjustment was made to pressure the ball. They shot a tad better, and got out on the run because of their defensive energy just like I said they would if they gave effort before. Hubert's seat is not nor will it be hot for at least two years until he coaches 100% his own recruits.

Man was literally in the Nat'l championship game his 1st season coaching.

It's disrespectful you even talking about him losing his job.lmao

If you'd read any of the pages before my response, you would understand what I was doing. Reading is fundamental buddy.

I don't need to read the pages before you mentioned Hubert job on the line in 2 years.

Like bro stop it. The man job is safe as any of the top coaches in basketball. They will give him at least 5 years to establish himself with this program.

Just sit back relax n chill. UNC will be fine.

I think you read them and just don't have the comprehension skills. You damn sure have writing and communication issues. Let me break it down for you short bus. I am a big CHD fan and I am glad he is UNC's coach. Many of the posters here are not and consistently talk out of their rear end about him getting fired(i.e. being on the hot seat).

"Hubert's seat is not nor will it be hot for at least two years until he coaches 100% his own recruits." This is what I said in response to a poster who is always saying sideways shite and here you come with your cape on responding to my post. Don't you feel dumb😉🤣

I understand that but you still mentioned him being on the hot seat potentially 2 years from now. That just doesn't make sense.

You don't build a program in 3 years it takes time. Give the man 5 years at least to actually judge him and the program he is building.

Comprehension should tell you, by what I said I meant they shouldn't even start running their mouths, talking about firing him, and showing how little they know about basketball until he has a chance to coach his #1 recruiting class, his players. Read the threads and go at the bums who are saying the real idiocy. Do you know that there is an entire part of the fanbase that want him fired and to hire the coach Wes Miller from Cincinnati? His team might not even be NIT bound. There are pages of them dumping on CHD and it would be good for you to have said what you said to me to them. Don't be afraid of going at these dudes with high post counts either. Most of the time it just means they have a bunch of one, two word posts.

    • Yeah and I am doubtful he can offer that consistently. I don’t have many years left at my age and in my view we have wasted two and this whole exercise with him was always a three year minimum.  I am out on that with a guy I don’t believe in, and never believed in, it has sucked. To me it is a costly detour off the right track. Years.    But I am not so rigid that I can’t see excellence. He needs to display it though, consistently before I change my outlook.
    • No, when I said rage, I meant rage, which only applies to certain fans on this board. Your timeline of trying to assess whether he is the future or not is really tied to the discussions surrounding his second contract. If this team is going to commit to some monster contract while he has shown nothing but glimpses of brilliance would be deservedly worrisome, so the clock is genuinely ticking for him to settle into something resembling his final form. Perhaps a best case scenario is that he plays well, the team succeeds, but he does so with a more limited role that makes the rest of the league view him as a game manager, and his second contract value reflects that. Then he continues to improve and becomes a bargain comparatively while not handicapping the team around him, and we enter an era of consistent championship competitiveness that the fanbase has craved for decades and has never really experienced before. But that requires many, many things to go right and for Bryce himself to facilitate that if he ends up being the quarterback of the future.
    • Exactly. And the flame throwers as well, get location benefits from not going all out. But they have it in reserve.  Not sure how much Greg had but he was an artist.  There was a YouTube I came across last year or maybe even 2023 and I don’t how to even find now but it had two NFL QBs I want say one was Carr from the Raiders but I don’t really remember  The point of it is they stood side by side throwing identical distances to identical targets. Radar gun was used.  They threw the normal effort (not all out) and it was measured etc. Then they were asked to throw their ‘fastball’. They were missing and most often they were missing high. It demonstrated the same principle.    edit: and applying that to arm strength, give me the guy that doesn’t need max effort to have good velocity. The margins are so narrow with less velocity in tne NFL the defenders can Close on it and this is a league where they value down to the 100th of a second level. It is that tight
