All Freddie does is get hurt. Plus he isn’t playing well. The best ability is availability and it’s time to move on

Not only are injuries becoming an issue, they only seem to occur when the team is facing the slightest adversity.

Sure, last season may have started with a bang, the team goes undefeated in October, and no matter how much of an aberration that may have been, this October's 2 losses look huge in comparison. The team isn't playing well right now, but I have to believe it's related to the number of new guys in new roles. But Andersen hasn't looked that good, allowing some pretty lazy goals. So, a little adversity, much like last season heading into the playoffs, and all of a sudden there's an injury.

At least we’ll get we’ll get a second look at Koch if Freddie is due to miss much time. See if he’s improved much over the offseason.

Shocker. Raanta has out performed Freddie this year imo. We need a solid NHL starter that we can rely on to be somewhat consistent and available. The team hasn’t looked “good” but the entire league is weird this year. Getting patches out there will be huge.

Burns not being what he thought is why the d looks rough. Slavin is playing double duty to make up for his play. Getting that fixed with consistently better goalie play will make the team look much better.
