He was in the backfield on a few plays only a couple of feet away from sacking Wilson. It appears we are slowly converting him to that role. I bet out of the bye Chinn is our new Joker back.

He brings a head-on-fire ST energy to the D. If you dont get him blocked, he will turn into a missile and make the play. Always been a fan and called for him to start many moons ago..

I hope that's the case. Franklin can play back in clean up duty. The closer to the ball the better for Chinn, playing zone free safety is a waste of his true talents. Even if he covers a TE I'd still rather it be close to the line/man to man

      I agree but he honestly has gotten better about this. Used to be he’d do it like 4-5 times a game, now it’s like 2-3. Overall I’m incredibly happy with his game, his D has been solid and when he is playing his role he’s a solid scorer and one of the few guys who can consistently finish at the rim and provide that threat. Plus he’s electric and LaMelo loves him. Going into the season I was sure he would just be a stop gap here but now I’m reconsidering and could see him continue to be a “core” piece here. Obviously not on the level of the other starters but he is an important cog for this team. We felt his missed presence during his and Moose’s suspensions.

      Philly will be a bigger challenge than the Knicks were IMO. George and Embiid are back, not sure about Maxey but Embiid alone is a nightmare matchup for us and Moose. We’ve never really done well against him. Celtics added Tatum but honestly not sure they’re all that much better with him right now than they were when we whooped them a few weeks ago. We should be able to at the very least split these 2, hopefully take both.
