If Jarrett misses the game?

the Observer is reporting Charly Martin will be the #3? What happened to Moore? I guess a guy showing potential w/ few chances on Sunday is a bad thing to Fox....obviously, the great evaluator must think he is lazy, doesn't know the playbook or give us the best chance to win.

Or is it possible they know what Moore can do and want to see about Martin. Or maybe Martin has looked better in practice this week with Moore at quarterback. There surely couldn't be a logical reason for this. It has to be some kind of screw up or conspiracy. Why don't we wait until they play to see what happens and then criticize rather than do it before the game is even played.

I was wondering about Moore as well but this is a valid point. I do truly believe Fox wants to win and if he thinks Martin gives us the best shot then so be it.

the great defender of Fox's decision making.....

they don't know what Moore can do on Sunday's b/c he hasn't gotten legit reps to prove anything. Moore and Jarrett should both be getting more reps.....Moose is wasting reps right now. We KNOW what he can do and we know his time is over. Need to see if the potenital the other guys show means anything......or Fox can be Fox and be an idiot ......and you can continiously say anyone who questions the great Fox is stupid.

Fox "said" Jake gave us the best chance.......taking Fox's bs talk to heart isn't wise. Fox doesn't mean half of what he says and many factors motiviate his decisions.

Wait... aren't they expecting both Moose and Jarrett to miss? So if Charly Martin is #3 that would make Kenny Moore #2, right?

Or am I missing something...?

I think the word is Moose will most likely play. That was the Observer's assumption when they have there projection.

they said Moore was working on punt returns w/ Gamble.

I think K. Moore was given a 'shot'. He was given a chance to be our starting PR and KR and replaced because he wasn't very good at it. I know you are referring to be a WR, but you take advantage of the opportunities given to you (see Steve Smith). If Martin has shown potential, then he should be given a shot too.

    • You're assuming just as well.   Morgan and Canales were hired 3 days apart.  I believe it was partially due to their connections in Seattle.  i believe Tepper wanted some familiarity with his GM and HC.  It is so easy to sit back and arm-chair QB over draft picks.  You don't know what the philosophy was going into the 2024 draft.  I believe Canales and Morgan were drafting for the future.  XL and Brooks point to that philosophy. Name me one GM that is 100% on draft picks.  Just one.  You're not going to find one.    I think year one picks weren't for what can you do for me now but Potential.   XL hasn't lived up to the hype of a 1st rounder.  I think we all can agree on that. However, there still is hope he comes around.  What I believe they saw in him was his speed after the catch.  He needs to get more consistent but when he gets the ball you kind of hold your breath just a second because if he gets free, he's gone.  The Brooks pick was a signing for the future, and no one could have guessed he would re-injure the same ACL.  This makes the pick look bad but Dallas was ready to draft him later that same round.  IMO we'll have to see what happens next season before we can call this a bust. Wallace has improved each season and for a third rounder has done well.  Sanders has shown flashes and considering the pick in the 4th round it wasn't a bad pick.  His sophomore season IMO was a little bit more productive.  Smith-Wade has been a good addition and has played well.  For a 5th round pick to get as much playing time as he has.  Most picks below round 3 should take a couple of years to get up to speed.  He's been a decent player.  Crumedy, no comment We turned Barrett into Jackson.  This was an amazing move and basically got a starting CB for a 7th round pick.  Pretty shrewd if you ask me. Coker, maybe the best Free Agent signing of the 2024 draft class. So, in short, you can't say that the draft was a bust.  It isn't a home run but all but one are still on the team and outside of Brooks have made contributions to wins.  2025 draft class has been much better with almost every pick making contributions this season.  Now take Fitterer's two years and compare them to Morgan and tell me that they have the same philosophy.
    • He hasn’t led crap, he’s on loaded teams and a piece of the puzzle. And he’s he has improved drastically but it took the ultimate QB whispers in Shanahan and KOC. You put him on this Panther team and he’s back to normal Darnold
    • Slavin and Jarvis week to week. Florida cheap shots took out our two best players.  I’d start KK so he can beat the brakes off someone.
