he's a journeyman having a good year because Pete Carrol and one of the best receiving duos in the league.

ask Russ how he's doing without Pete, DK and Lockett.

To be fair, Wilson wasn’t good in Seattle.  I have family that lives there and are die hard Hawks fans.  They were happy to see him traded.  He was the luckiest QB on the planet.

why do we have to do both?

we SHOULD draft a first round QB, it's time - but we do have Corral who should still get a fair look and I'm sure we'll bring Darnold back on a one year team friendly deal depending on how he plays the rest of the season and if Wilkes is HC. 

Otherwise, yeah - our new HC will want a free agent journeyman to be in the QB room with our rookie QB.

      Question to the posters on this thread because you are knowledgeable--I love watching and pull for the Canes, but I never played so I don't have the understanding I had when I played football then watched it.  Having said that, Do you think we are weak at Center?  I see the team to be pretty strong on the wings, promising defense, and weak at Goalie.  It would be ideal if the Canes had 1 more position to upgrade, not 2.  I don't think you can count on Anderson to play a full season and he is 35.  However, are we solid at Center in your view?

      Couldn't agree more, Kooch is erratic and Freddy is fragile, maybe save the remaining cap space for a goalie stud at the deadline

      There is one play that sold me-- it was around 2:38, I think.  It was 4th and 1 and the QB telegraphed and threw the ball out wide to TMac.  He had no blocking (the TE was very late) and four defenders collapsed on TMac behind the LOS. They seemed to know it was coming.  He got hit behind the LOS and battled through several hits to get three yards.  THAT play showed me his fire.
