The NHL game is policed, not officiated. For the most part, officials try to even up the PP’s unless things are blatant. Because of that, the Canes need to find a way to get the PP going.

We got away with a poo PP during previous seasons because our PK was elite. This year our PK has declined and the PP is still poo.

Just looking at the past five years, the teams that have won the Cup have had top 10 PP units.

It’s vital that we figure this out or we’ll be exiting the playoffs early again.
