Stop playing Madden and trying to replace reality with it..

Ppl are playing for their lives, coaches are coaching for their lives .. They can’t afford to live by the analytics of losing my be better for the team in general..

Exactly. Some fans just don't get it. Sure it would be better for certain teams to lose games but try telling that to the coaches and players that have their present and future jobs on the line, I don't think you will find that any of them would agree to the losing games concept.

I agree with your premise overall. I've seen you post this graphic a few times - what year is that current through? Seems like it might be outdated if it's saying there have been zero pro bowl QBs drafted 6-10 since Herbert, Allen, and Mahomes were all in that range, Ryan Tannehill as well.

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
