Haven't read the thread yet ... but of COURSE the majority of the Huddle doesn't like him. He's "boring". Not "flashy". Not "electric". Christ, a 1/3 of this board wanted Zach Wilson lol. Give Levis a headband and have him scoot all over the field and the Huddle would be in love.

Problem solved. He also wore a headband...

GOAT pointed out that it's a real possibility he comes here. You called it "gaslighting".

It isn't. He's correct.

Yeah, of course it's a possibility? He could even be selected first overall. It's not going to magically make fans do a 180 on their opinions of a player because there's a real possibility he comes to town.

What does that matter?

I don't know why I have to elaborate, but I'll explain it this way.

A few months ago GOAT called Ickey & Horn trash. Now, them being Panthers, clearly, did not change his opinion of them as players.

NFL stands for "Not For Long". That's what I've learned watching for years.

Wentz got injured, watched his back up hoist the trophy, lost all his coordinators, and the rest is history.

Very rarely do players have long successful careers. There's no way on earth to predict it happening or not.

I went down a Wentz rabbit hole when looking to see if he is similar to Levis.

Found a great Peter King conversation that said after watching Foles win the ring that he set them up for, it really got under Wentz' skin. Wentz got them to 11-2 in his second year....with Reich as OC and Staley as RB coach.

King went on to say that Wentz couldn't shake the Foles optics and began his mental breakdown. That along with the injuries, and he was never the same. So much of it is between the ears.

Wentz was well on his way to being a perennial MVP candidate and leading his team to the postseason. How quickly things can shift.

You're the one quoting me to nitpick tangents.

I'm watching you talk like you're fighting some kind of conspiracy theory trying to turn people into Will Levis fans. It's kinda paranoid.

The Panthers are gonna draft who they're gonna draft regardless of what any of us think of them. After that, most of us will hope for the best, though a few will still hope they're proven right...even if it means losing.

It's silly, but...

Oy 😖

Some guys are more about themselves than the team.

I do it by talking football.

Maybe it's not as important as fighting the evil forces trying to gaslight the good fans on a Panthers message board, but it's a lot more fun.

Levis is gonna be a fixer-upper. So you have to be convinced you are handy enough to be able to turn him into a finished product.

Richardson is just raw material. His fundamentals are very questionable and he is a straight up project.

If we are gonna aim for a QB in the draft, why not just go after Young and Stroud who are much closer to being finished products?

    • Thin sliced roast beef, provolone, and roasted bell peppers on a toasted sub roll.  At least one thing is going right today. I don't trust anyone who's never put Bugles on their fingertips to make witch fingers.
    • But yeh,  Bryce is the only problem on this sorry excuse of a team. You could put Tom Brady on this team and we would still suck . Worst part is Tepper and his various band of clowns have been trying to build a competitive team for 7 freaking years and are no closer now than when it all started.
    • Regardless of the trade and where he was picked, Bryce actively created deception. He wore a hoodie to the combine and was 15 lbs heavier because he packed on water weight because he didnt weigh near 200 lbs. He didn't participate in drills in a wide open 4 way, really 3, QB bid. Then there was all this hype over the S2 test that he had been practicing that we've never heard about in the draft process since. Does anyone think it was an accident Stroud's score on the S2 was released? Stroud said forget the score, watch his tape. Wonder why. There was a whole bunch of shady poo going on surrounding Bryce pre draft, and I for one, find it all a little too convenient.  Just my opinion, but he was a used car salesman that used some armor all and a wash n wax and maybe a set of white walls then schmoozed his way at dinner with Dave and Nicole and sold them that he was a super savant.  There was a whole lot of BS swirling around the BY hype train and he was a full fledged participant. Frank didn't want Bryce, he wanted Stroud. A new head coach does not pick a QB he has to go design a brand new offense around unless that guy is a generationaltalent, which Bryce was most definitely not. He picks the guy that best fits what he does and that was Stroud. This was Dave and Nicole's pick and they fuged this team like they've done over and over again since they've been here. They fell for use car salesman Rhule, then used car salesman Bryce and company. And the fans got stuck with the 4 years of payments on a car less reliable than Al Bundy's Dodge.
