Hell, their Assistant GM is Ed Dodds.

There have been hints that Irsay is interfering in the process, but yeah sometimes guys just take a hard left turn.

Mind you, if we were to learn in seasons to come that most of their success was really because of Frank Reich, I'd be pretty cool with that

Ed has been on all my top 3 GM lists before finesser. Just looking at the colts roster too, ballard has lost it.

Nobody has brought up RB Austin Ekeler and would he be a player we could use on the roster. The Chargers has given him authorization to test the waters. Only thing is his price tag.

He would require giving up a draft pick/picks and a pretty big contract.  I don't think that's in the Panthers budget this year.

panthers just rid of a more expensive ekeler. Many around the league are not wanting to pay RBs. I think the panthers finally got the memo, 20+ years too late...
