Sanders? Just help me understand.

I know people are struggling with this. It's really what teams.want out of theirnstarting running back. They want a running back whom can play ever down, and catch out of the backfield.

Sanders is a lot like CMC, but without CMC's price.  Consider him a value.

Ill be right on this one, he isn't that good and I'd much rather have Foreman if the salaries were switched. You guys will get it soon too. He was behind the number 1 line in the NFL. He 100 is Hubbard. N Hubbard dropped 3 balls last year so Facebook n reddit nerds take a dive.

Again, not a huge contact, like at all. It’s not even remotely bellcow tier. It’s Kareem Hunt type level pay for a team needed something, anything proven at a skill position. So yes, it makes sense to not over rely on unprovens but not overpay. We have no idea what went down w Foreman.

If you’re gonna faux neck stick out contrarian, at least make it worthwhile.

People keep saying that Sanders is a three-down back, but Philly didn't really use him as one. His blocking is not great. We'll see what happens here. He's more versatile and much more explosive than Foreman. If you haven't seen this vid, you might want to to get a better idea of what he's been.

Chuba had the same average last year as Sanders (4.9), so you might want to be more objective. Chuba is a little smaller, but faster (and maybe even a tad more explosive). His hands aren't nearly as good though. I think Chuba is a good backup for Sanders actually. He may even be more prone to hit the hole and go, whereas Sanders may be more prone to try and hit the corner. I think that both have sneaky power, so hopefully we'll be able to get that short yardage, but it remains to be seen.

If we were doing the same poo as last year, Foreman would have been fine and the status quo would have been enough.

Apparently we got a new coaching staff that is not going to be satisfied with the status quo and is going to do things that require a different kind of back from Foreman and that Hubbard might have some similarities to style-wise, but a better quality than Hubbard was needed, which we got.

Sanders is better/more talented/more versatile than Foreman and Miles ahead of Hubbard.

Or remotely his talent. You left that one out.

Wtf? Upgraded D. A real QB. Think they'd be fine with last year's running  game. Bro!

You make it sound like Sanders is a hack scrub. You haven't been paying attention or you are just overly biased if you think that's the case.

Or you're just drunk and you just want to argue about something.

Sanders and CMC could not be more different

In no way do you want Sanders out wide

Sanders is like a better Hubbard in terms of play style

    • We will make it interesting. I think we'll be on a roll by then.
    • Especially glad there's no Thursday games. I hate them. They're dangerous. They really fug up a routine and unless you're team is coming off a bye, they play the game with little rest or prep.
    • Sober. Still feeling it. I really like how the schedule is laid out for us. Perfect for a new HC and rebuilding team. Aside from the Bengals, there aren't  any good teams before the bye. Chargers will be, but they're having to figure poo out just like we are and they'll be coming here for an early game. That one is a toss up. I like our defense against them. I think we'll give the Bengals a fight, but I wouldn't put money on us winning that one. But the saints can be swept. They're beat up and just don't have much going on. They'll be at the bottom of the division. I feel like we will split with the falcons and the bucs. There's nothing scary about the raiders or that washington team. Chicago is another toss up, but they aren't scary either....not yet anyways. We're getting them early in the season so I like our chances. I especially like our defense against a rookie QB. And the broncos....boring. Giants....again, boring. Looking at this, we've got a good defensive thing going on. I think the unit will be better this year a d we're in season 2 of Evero. I like us especially against rookie QBs, and we'll have at least 3 we're facing before the bye. We come in and play smash mouth football and just keep hitting (pounding) away and I think we're competitive. It's that schedule after the bye that scares me. Hopefully by that point they've built up a lot of confidence. You get a scrappy dawg that's got some confidence and a lot of fight in him and you've always got a shot. I think that's what we'll be this year. This year isn't about winning all the games. It's about building confidence and learning what we've got to do. But looking at that later schedule and it's not horrible. We've got the eagles and chiefs....that's scary, but then we've got the cardinals and cowboys at home...and it's the cowboys in December. When have they been scary in December? And we've got division games in there as well. I think we'll do ok. The more I look at it, the better I feel about it.
