Rhule wasn't a fit for the NFL game, and he's a bit of a salesman, which surely isn't my favorite personality type. But, like everyone else, he's just trying to find his place and bring what he can to the world. No hate. I wish him well. And he's had success in the very role he's in now - redirecting the momentum of college programs.

however, he is a sketchy weasel at best  … and that’s giving short shrift to the weasel

Sketchy weasels are often birthed in circumstances that foster the growth of "sketchy weasels".

Side note - I've always loved the word weasel. It's just fun to say. Try it aloud...right now. 😜

      Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.

      All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
