No question, and to get the 5th round option for Legette, we really came out well after trading away so much draft capital for Bryce. To get the guy we were targeting with a 5th year option as well as getting a 2nd back for next year is a huge win -

That is a great question. I could be the latter with knowing they have plan B at the ready. The impatient boss selects the instant payoff over the long term (we have seen how that works). A wise boss is not impatient. If they are smart they aren’t going to build something they can’t use with the next guy, until they know they don’t need a next guy. edit: do people think that they see Young as cemented in place as that guy?
