Miami fans about to jump off a cliff.

They’re expected to be contenders this year.

Their only OL worth a Crap.  Armstead, just got carted off in practice after he couldn’t put any weight on his right leg.

Not good.  Was hoping Miami would sneak up and take that division.  Change of pace.

Sucks, but made me chuckle thinking about how Saleh was painted as a douche for joint practice feelings and here the Dolphins OL could be in real trouble again from a joint practice.

Saleh was criticized for agreeing  to 2 days of joint practices and then when the team got there he cancelled day 2 just because he did not like it. He should have been up front about his plans.

I'm sure if Saleh had said "Well maybe just one practice" They wouldn't have gone all that way. If you say for 2 practices, you do 2 practices. How can you trust the guy after this?

I didn’t need a correction for why he was criticized. IDGAF if Tampa was inconvenienced and that was immaterial to my post anyway. I thought it was ironic/funny that Saleh got blasted a couple days ago and now one of his main competitors may have lost their LT for the season at a joint practice. His reasoning for “being a douche” was the chippiness (potential injuries) on day 2 of joint practices and that was kind of confirmed by Armstead’s injury.

You still got it wrong.  Not a problem with his opinion of 2 day joint practices.  Problem is not honoring his commitment.

I'm not sure anything was "confirmed" by Armstead's injury.  There was no mention of chippiness or anything out of the ordinary on the play where he got injured.  In fact, it was the first play of team drills for what appears to be a result of pretty standard contact.  Armstead has a lengthy injury history so this isn't some crazy shock injury that you can reasonably chalk up to having anything to do with it being a joint practice.  The fact that it was a joint practice is what appears to be "immaterial" to borrow your language.

Huh? What did I say was wrong? Saleh said why he didn’t like day 2s. I said zero about his commitment because I could care less if he F’d over Tampa. I am glad we are so concerned about Tampa’s plight, lol.

You said that is why we were criticizing him.  That is the part you got wrong.

Damn, you folks and your aliases are all out right now. I’m so sorry that I found something ironic because we had a big thread on Saleh and joint practices and then a key player on one of his two top rivals goes down in a joint practice the day after everyone was bashing him. Have fun thinking you guys got me on a technicality if that makes you feel better. We all win that way!

Dear lord. Saleh himself said what I said. I’ll let you win. I did a bad job of describing the ironic link between his cancelling day 2 of joint practices with Tampa (those poor guys) because he saw no benefit in day 2 due to injury risks and his #2 competitor (behind Bills) possibly losing their LT in a joint practice on day 2 of joint practices with Houston.

He still needs an MRI but is seems like Armstead may be fine as well, which is great since he’s not a Saint.

    • If Reich or Fitterer were still around I think the need to extend Young because of what he cost would be stronger.  And yeah Morgan was Fit's right hand when the call was made but there an equal chance that Dan will see it as a chance to move on from Fit and shake off that stink. Holding out some hope that 3 years and clear eyes will allow for an honest appraisal that Young just aint the guy
    • As far as elite/elevate talent QB’s It’s Allen Mahomes Jackson and Burrow that’s it.  Then we have tiers and those can be debated all day Dak is a good QB but I know this board would want him out of Charlotte if he was the QB here. 2 playoff wins in 10 years. Justin Herbert no playoff wins. Threw 4 interceptions in last years playoff game. 23 TD passes last year. 20 the year below and 25 the year before that. This board loves stats without context and these stats aren’t saying they’re much above complimentary  Kyler Murray isn’t good. I’m not sure how he made this list.  Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence both benefiting from some real good offensive coaches right now. They’re both complimentary pieces until proven otherwise  I like Jordan Love. Always have. I wanted to draft him but he isn’t a superstar.  CJ Stroud hasn’t been much better than Bryce after his rookie season. After that Bears game year 2 his numbers very similar to Bryce I will say I think Drake Maye is well on his way to becoming the next top tier QB if I had to pick one from this entire list. I’d also say Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB and I’d take him over most of those guys not in the elite category  Now if you want to debate tools and which QB’s possess tools to put them in higher tiers that’s a completely different discussion. Most QB’s on your main list all have those physical tools that will keep you thinking he’ll become the next top tier QB. They’ll sprinkle in a “wow” play or two a game. Bryce will never look that way. Young’s game at its peak will physically always look different and I think that’s where most people struggle when it comes to seeing how Young’s can be successful in the league  All QB’s need a team around them. I think the Bills are failing Josh Allen much like the Panthers did Cam. Beane and McDermott using same blueprint with Bills team. Josh Allen hasn’t had much in terms of WR’s and it’s ultimately costing them when it matters the most
