I hate sports media.

Keyshawn Johnson just picked the Saints to win the SB on Undisputed. Just because he's nephew plays for the Saints.

These guys get paid millions to troll and be entertaining. Of course Michael Irvin and Skip Bayless got the Cowboys in the SB yet again.smh

I have found that when it comes to the media, including the sports media, I am much happier since I gave up all hope.  Unfortunately, there are very few people who report on anything that do not cause my immediate response to be wondering what their motive is for saying it.

This is the type of self reflection and accountability I've never seen from a Panthers coach.

Meh it's pretty cowardly IMO to take on a cushy new HC gig across the country and then...7 months later...take accountability for screwing the pooch during a defensive collapse in the Super Bowl where your QB and the offense put together an incredible performance.  I doubt Eagles fans are reading this and feeling warm and fuzzies and saluting their computer screens lol I'd be annoyed AF to see this as an Eagles fan.  It's just meaningless posturing to take "accountability" at a time when you no longer have to answer to your fans, your media, your team.  Accountability is so overrated on these boards anyway.  Just produce or GTFO is all that matters...the rest is noise and coachspeak.

Clicks and Views.

Keyshawn will make headlines today just because he has the Saints winning the SB.

That’s all it’s about now for the most part. Deion is going to be the story of college football this year because he is a great public speaker, is exceptional around the camera and so far has backed it up.

You realize he was traded there right?

He was even shocked we traded him at the time of the trade. DJ Moore was a class act in Charlotte. His off the field situation happens all the time. These guys make millions and have women throwing themselves at them all the time. Temptation is a hell of a drug and most men fall victim.

Gotcha, DJ is the real victim.

Never understood why people thought Deion would fail as a P5 coach. I didn't expect them to win that game, but looking at the bigger picture he's going to turn that program around sooner than later simply because he's going to be a force in recruiting. He's the only coach flashy and he vibes with the younger generation than the other coaches. Prime will be a force in college football. Also im not expecting him to be at Colorado for than 3 years. Someone will come calling with a big contract.

I wish UNC/NC State would go after him.

I can’t speak for NCSU but Carolina currently has a head coach that leaves things behind in the toilet with more accomplishments than Deion.

I could def see him basically being a mercenary and leaving CU once his son and Hunter are gone. Will probably bounce to a bigger market. Could be UNC in a couple years, could be Miami, could be UF, could be dare I say Bama or Clemson.

It sounds like Mike Williams is still alive, but it is a horrible situation.

I saw something about that but it didn't come from a reliable source. Wanted to wait until there was something better...

    • Jeremy Fowler draft intel on the Panthers: “Carolina was high on Proctor. If he somehow slipped to 19, he was a viable option.” “Caleb Lomu was on the Panthers short list too.” “Panthers weren’t totally comfortable with Stowers there at 49.”   https://x.com/panthersontap/status/2049827264972353727?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
