Lets not kid ourselves here. Wes Welker and bad calls lost us this game not Offense.

well, not running Williams enough for ANOTHER game is Fox. Fox is also the same for not game planning for Welker. Moss took himself out also.....not so much Carolina......should have been easy defensively to focus on Welker.

I agree, the bad calls made it near tough......but the game setup perfectly for us to run.....and Fox again didn't do it with the best guy on our team.

That wasn't the problem. We couldn't run for poo when we tried. Yea D Will had some good runs but we were consistently getting stuffed.

Agree..The pats Secondary was horrible coming into this game.Any OC would tried to take advantage of that. With that said Moore missed some throws and those runs were not consitent enough..Stats can be misleading.

Our line was getting pushed around out there by the pats also. I dont think it mattered who was running the ball today they were not getting anywhere. It was up to Moore and our WRs to make plays and well they failed. No doubt Dwill should get most of the carrys and did break some big runs but it still was up to Moore and WRs to make plays most of the game.

You are correct. One of the problems was that, yes DWill had some big runs, but we also had a lot of second and long, third and long. On those downs, almost any team passes. It seems that today, with the running game, it was feast or famine. Also the fact that we were behind in the fourth qtr skews the passing numbers significantly.

but again....there is a reason the Titans have boucned back.....and there is a reason Chris Johnson leads the NFL in rushing and runs for no gain. You gotta give opportunity and those guys will come through.....Williams doesn't need great holes.....I don't understand this "Williams got nowhere" talk. They ask Stewart to run the same type plays and that doesn't suit him as well.....and it hurts us and wastes reps to some degree.

Exactly, we didn't need Moore to be great today just good. We just didn't get a good product today whether it was pass calling, execution or whatever. You knew that NE would make adjustments in the second half and they kept us to a field goal. Williams had some good runs but we couldn't follow it up with enough good plays in a row. And penalties killed us on several drives.

Still we couldn't mount a challenge in the no huddle and march down the field like we have come to expect in the past. So far we have shown that we can get a lead early and hold on but we haven't shown we can score when we have to.

I wonder what next week brings.

Exactly. It wasn't that we didn't make some good plays. But outside of the great pass to Smith for a TD, there weren't many good passes the rest of the way. Our running game had some big plays but we couldn't establish any consistency. How many redzone opportunities did we have versus NE against us?

Our offense is pretty weak right now, no getting around it.
