I remember paying $300 for a throwback jersey in my early years. Looking back on it what the hell was I thinking.lol

Some people just have money to burn so I get it for the upper class people.

I'm neither of those people but thanks for generalizing.

I know I'm going to the Seattle game this year which is an early game and had to represent for Bryce. Also, the last "expensive" jersey I bought was a Kuechly about 7-8 years ago so I figured it was time to treat myself to a new jersey.

Wait are “Limited” jerseys really not embroidered names and numbers any more??? That’s such bullshit. The last jersey I got was a white McCaffrey Limited in 2018 and it’s such a great quality jersey for the price, the screen printed ones suck. Was planning to get a Bryce limited one once they came out but if they’re not embroidered fug that

correct. the only difference that i could see between the new limited (it's now called "Fuse") is a better collar/NFL shield and that the LOGO on the arms is stitched. the name/number is raised heat press, as it is now on the Game. So they improved the Game jerseys a little but IMO went way backwards on the limited/fuse. I ordered an elite when fanatics had 25% off.  I'll add a picture of the raised heat press on the Fuse jersey

Very disappointing, thanks for the heads up as I was gonna order one once available. Now I'll have to decide whether to shell out for the Elite or just get a cheap regular game jersey. The old Nike Limited were perfect, no annoying sleeves like the Elite, embroidered name and numbers, reasonable price, high quality all around. The game jerseys are ok but nowhere near that and really not worth $130. And not sure why anyone would even buy the Limited then...

i agree--and i ended up making the decision to get the elite because of it. i hit it on a 25% off sale (they never include jerseys in the sale esp stitched) on fanatics so i got the black bryce elite for ~277. they also upped the price of this fuse to 200 at the team store at least. IMO if you're someone who buys the game jerseys, you should be pleased. they are nicer and closer to the limited/fuse. if you're someone like us who likes stitched..it's elite or nothing and very disappointing. it made more financial sense to me to buy a jersey in all 3 colors when i could get a stitched one for 140ish/even 120 on sales. now i'll likely just have the one.

i bought a limited Horn blue jersey last year and was upset when the color changed but now i'm glad i got a limited when they still existed. obviously they have some of the older limiteds of horn/chinn etc that you can still get, but make sure you're not buying a fuse.

I know man..I'm pissed as well. I didn't know until a few days ago. The raised the price and made a shittier product. Limiteds were always my go to for jerseys.

So this is the Vapor Fuse Limited in the pic right? I see Dicks Sporting Goods now has them for sale now online (first/only place I've seen with them...only seen the customized ones available up until now). I'm curious about the shoulder stripes on the Limiteds because on the Dicks site, it says the stripes are screen printed even on the Limiteds which I would hate even more than the heat pressed names/numbers. Yet I see your pic of what I'm assuming is the same jersey and the shoulder stripes are the way they usually are on Limiteds...sewn together fabric. I'm hesitating placing an order for one from Dick's because I can't get a straight answer anywhere.

it is a vapor fuse pictured, yes. i see what you're saying about the pictures on dick's website--i would blame that on the way they posted it. the vapor fuse does have real sewn shoulders, logo and stripes. if that's what you want i would go ahead and buy it and you can always return it. i don't see how there's any way dicks would have a different nike fuse than the team store (which you can call and confirm with the team store--they do not currently carry elite jerseys [which is insane it's the one place on earth but])

    • I went to Canes games back in '04 & '05 when you were probably still a swimmer waiting to make your dad a father. There was no one there bc they sucked. Some of the lowest attendance in the NHL. As a Panthers fan coming off a SB season (03-04), I couldn't even believe they put a hockey team in Raleigh, and given the attendance, a lot of people speculated they would be relocated somewhere back up north where they would be supported and not "Mayberry." Seriously, educate youself.  That is reality. That being said, comparing that environment to 2024 Canes would be disingenuous. I was at PNC last year and know how great the current environment is. Comparing the current environment at BOA to 10 years ago is just as disingenuous.  Just bc you didn't witness how good BOA is when the Panthers are actually decent doesn't change reality. Seriously, surely you see that coming from such an elitist environment like the globally renowned world-class city of Raleigh, NC... I guarantee you if you went to a Canes game and a Panthers game in 2005, the difference would be unreal bc the Panthers were awesome and the Canes were (at the time) a moribund franchise. I have been in BOA when the whole stadium was rocking. You simply are young, don't know what you're talking about, but want to portray yourself as having knowledge about things you simply don't. You have a lot in common with modern day politicians and televangelists Like I said, Idiocracy has prevailed... Have a great day too!
    • Let it all out bro.   At the end of the day Charlotte fans just aren't that passionate as other fans. The Panthers and Hornets crowds are wack.    Go to a Canes game and you will understand this. Tell the family I said hi and Happy Father's Day.
    • Dude you have no idea what you're talking about. Best place to live?  LMAO... that's your criteria...  Charlotte gets put all over those lists too... come on man... and those lists have zero to do with sports. I'm done after this bc I'm punching down intellectually here... The Panthers have been bad for 6 years now. You are obviously young and not overly educated based off the "dunks" you're putting out there that certainly are, so let me educate you today on the Panthers. The Panthers sold out for well over a decade straight. BOA has been as good an environment as there is when the team is good.  Fan support for the Panthers has been incredible when the team has even remotely reciprocated. The idea that Charlotte doesn't support the Panthers is utter BS. People in Raleigh have the biggest little brother syndrome of all time... Nobody outside of the Triangle cares about any of your "vaunted" sports team outside of Duke-UNC in basketball on a national scale. Sure, the Canes are great. But nationally, the WWE dwarfs the NHL in ratings. More people care about Cody Rhodes than Sebastian Aho... or anyone else in the NHL for that matter... I doubt less than 5% of anyone in this state outside of Raleigh even knows who that is... that's a knock on Aho who is a great player, it's just the NHL barely makes a ripple in the overall hierarchy of American sports. It's not in the same universe as the NFL or NBA no matter how badly you want to tell yourself otherwise. Raleigh is not a big-time sports city, no matter how much you want to scream into the abyss about it. Neither is Charlotte. But no one here is making such a nonsense argument... LOL it's good to be young and to be ignorant enough to be confidently wrong... WTF are you even on this board though since Charlotte is so beneath you? There is an actual discussion board on this very site for Raleigh sports since they are so superior...  Maybe it's bc I'm watching Idiocracy with my son, but your timing is perfect, my man... The dumbest among us have become the most confidence in their ignorance... God Bless America!!
