Anyone heard anything on how Johnson has looked? No news usually isn't good news for pass rushers.

I haven't heard anything about Burns either. Almost nothing is being reported about the defense other than the long shots.

Evero told him on draft day that he was to focus on setting the edge before rushing the QB so I suppose that is what they are working on and nobody is going to talk about run defense.

My guess is he looks like a rookie in first few weeks of the NFL camp

there were two big plays Burns made... one of them was in scrimmage and the other was in lineman drills.

It's tough to hear much about dline during these practices bc the only moments where the dline is lined up against anything resembling an offense is situation drills. Much different than 7 on 7 drills and passing drills

    • I would like to see the Starters in the first 2 preseason games get about 2 series each.  The final game should be those that are fighting for a roster spot.   Plus I don't expect to see any real difficult plays being run. Very vanilla
    • AR was never ready to be the opening day starter, just like Bryce. These rookie QBs are rushed into service when they really need time to develop and learn without the pressure of being the immediate team savior. I liked AR with the right HC, not Frank, and always thought he'd need some time to get up to the NFL speed and competitive level. He probably would have learned over the course of the year that running repeatedly into NFL defenders as a QB is a recipe for a short career. Cam was the exception, not the rule.
    • Oh I forgot about Barkov….im naming players on a team I don’t like….the team is stacked.  Seth Jones!  Holy poo
