Slightly annoyed Fitterer and co didn't address the position in last draft. As a philosophy I like taking chances on later round running backs every other draft. Chubba has never really impressed me. Yeah he showed a lil something but nothing that would have stopped me from drafting another guy. I like Blackshear I'm pulling for him. That said I don't remember exactly who was available for that pick we used on DJ Johnson ( who I hope ends up decent) but if we were already thinking bout adding a vet across from Burns seems a wasted or at least long term pick. I know management has some faith in a Chubba, Miles, Blackshear and Brown backfield but I don't. Kinda like the corner situation I like the guys but as far as a draft strategy I like my corners, RB's and offensive linemen as overachievers weighted against they draft status.

It is my biggest gripe from the draft as well. I’ve since let it go but man, I was excited about a lot of RBs in the past draft class.

Spears, Johnson, McBride, Abanikanda, Chase Brown. It was a fun and super deep class. Can’t sweat the past but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t bum me out.

Zach Evans, Archane, and the same guys you mentioned.  I'm just not a huge believer in Chubba.

Need to get a good look at Peoples honestly don't know why we didn't against the Giants.

I suspected they may be trying to limit his exposure so they could keep him stashed.  It's the only thing I could think of.  For some reason, I thiught he had some good buzz around him before he kept getting injured.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
