Sorry kids, Jason Campbell is garbage

Say NO to campbell.

I want nothing less than a first round QB or an above average QB with a nice resume.

DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS. Let's pay a little more and bet on skill rather than luck.

QB is the most important position in the entire game. This only makes sense... where is the confusion?

I said this in another thread. The strategy you're talking about is one that the Bears followed this past offseason to a T. Surely that's translating to success, right?

I don't really feel like Campbell would be the next Carr.

He has had some really good games this year even with that horrible line/team.

What QB doesn't make bad decisions at times? Hell we have had the herald of bad decisions playing QB for us over the last several years.

I bet Campbell would play well for us. He doesn't exactly have a whole lot to work with over there.

The point is that Moore may or may not be the answer, and the fact that he was 3rd on the depth chart this season behind Jake Delhomme and Josh McCown speak volumes... Especially when it was obvious how bad we needed another option earlier in the season...

Don't get me wrong... I'm a fan... But, I just think Campbell is a better option at this point...

Why is everyone bailing on Moore all of a sudden? Panther fans are so fickle. Until Moore gives you reason to doubt why do you? If aint broke don't fix it.

What? No one is bailing on Moore.

What is fixed?

He played one really good game that's it.

You don't think he played well against the Pats? He can't go out there and play defense on Welker, so I would not say that Matt Moore did not have a good game against the Pats.

Matt Moore's Passer Rating

Tampa Bay- 73.1 [i put this game up there because Matt's Passer Rating was better than Campbell's was against this common oppenent]

@ New Englad- 82.2

Minnesota- 123.2

The Pats game where he should have been intercepted at least 2 or 3 times and was sailing balls all over the place? If the NE secondary could catch, we'd all be talking about how maybe Cantwell is the answer and scheming for 1st rounders.

He wasn't good against TB, but managed not to turn it over. He had one bad quarter and one very good quarter against MIN.

Better than Delhomme != TEH FRANCHISE

    • KP is not a straight up carbon copy but they look awful close to me.  T
    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
