bill voth is saying that he heard prior to the vikings game that they were going to be keeping their jobs. he said the decision more had to do with th uncertainty of the 2011 season and the $6mil that richardson is due.

hoping for the best now. i'm still not going to change my sig. at least not for a while.

as was proven last night, Foxball works when you have a QB that can actually make throws. provided Fox decides to start matt moore next season and efforts are made through the draft to shore up some of the team's weaknesses, i think we'll have a successful season.

Wow.... Ever heard of Oakland?? We can win with Fox next year. QB play and WR issues are hurting us right now.

Next year it will be another position that Fox wont change til its to late. Tired of the mediocrecy. Fox runs the simplist system in the NFL I have no problem with that but he cant coach the players up. The only time they show up is when it is against better oppenants.

If this is true Fox, Hurney and the entire staff are returning, it does not surprise me. The players are playing for thier jobs next season so Fox and Hurney reap the rewards. I do agree with a lot of posts that I would hate to see Meeks go. Panther ownership thinks the players have been playing for Fox the last 2 weeks. No they were playing to hopefully keep thier jobs when the next coaching staff came in. Sunday, it would not surprise me if the game plan is set up so that Matt Moore fails. This will enable Fox and Hurney to say they need to give Delhomee a chance to keep his job since he was not playing because of an injury. You can not lose your job to injury no matter how poorly he was playing. Also will give them an excuse again not to go after a another QB as they have McCown and Moore on the roster already. They will come out with a statement that the QB situation is in good shape, Jake had a rough year and Matt Moore has proven he is capable to backup as well as Josh McCown.

.....the said the decision more had to do with th uncertainty of the 2011 season................

This is the part that pisses me off!!!! Since I am in favor or a good retread and not an unknown cooridinator as our coach for this team - due to doing nothing because of "uncertainty of the 2011 season" the Panthers have seen Holmgren go somewhere, Cowher head to Tampa, and Shanahan prob to Washington. So now we are stuck with a coach who has had 3 winning seasons the past 7, can only get this team to play good football when there is nothing on the line AND if he cant get the job done will eventually be fired while the best of the current retreads are no longer available. Then will have to go out and bring in the unknown and most likely have wasted the careers of our current best players; while that guy rebuilds because then that is what will have to be done.
