How many players/former players/front office guys read the Huddle?

I tend to see this place as a private bubble sometimes, but how well-read is the Huddle among those that matter(ed)? Anybody know? I know at least some keep up to date here because I once received a very negative private message from a former player ripping me for calling him "trash" this season.

Are you sure it was a real player?

Plenty of people get on here and fake like they are the real guy.

I won't identify the player. He's well-known. If moderators are able to read people's private messages, they can feel free to check and see if it was really him that sent me the private message.

No big deal. Just remembering that and seeing Dan Morgan post his actual thoughts on the team tonight made me wonder about this topic.

They're not real? So that money I sent to JakeDelhomme17 won't go towards paying for his Tommy John surgery?

Suckered again....

Im a former Panther player I left the Panthers and became a world heavyweight champ! People still chant my last name....

They chant "LuckyDog?" Is that a Swedish name? :D

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
