How can ONE injured DT change the whole season.

Forget Delhomme for a second. Anyone notice the attitude toward the season changed once Kemoeatu got hurt? That's one guy! Look how many players have been injured for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Stewart Bradley, out for the year

Jamaal Jackson, out for the year

Shawn Andrews, out for the year

Cornelius Ingram, out for the year

Ellis Hobbs, out for the year

Omar Gaither, out for the year

Brian Westbrook, out most of the year

Kevin Curtis, out most of the year

Todd Herrimans, out 6 games

Akeem Jordan out 4 games

Joselio Hanson, out 4 games

Donovan McNabb, Desean Jackson, Jason Peters, Jeremy Maclin, etc... all missing games

Yet the Eagles are 11-4 and the Panthers are 7-8?

BUT BUT BUT NOOO! The Panfurs are the only team that struggles wif injuries every year!

We all know Jake is to blame. Some fans are trying to turn our attention away from Jake so that they can more easily attack Fox and Hurney. Another trend I'm seeing is the idea that Jake will be starting next season, so we should want Fox and Hurney fired. Apparently the 'Fox stuck with Jake too long, so fire him' arguement is losing steam.

Fox single handedly took the postseason away from this team, that's what he should be fired for. Don't get me wrong every one makes mistakes, and they should be entitled to a second chance, but what Fox did this season is inexcusable and he should have his job security in question, but apparently Management see's no issue with Fox so me bitching and complaining does nothing lol.

I've really felt the sting of Fox's terrible mistake. I'm sick that we didn't make the playoffs, when it seems as though we would have with Moore. Even so, I think we're in the clear now that the QB situation has been resolved. And overall Fox is a very good HC imo, and I'd hate to see him leave. But I do ultimately blame him for us not making the the playoffs this season. Let me ask a question to all the fans who want Fox fired. How do you think this team will do next season with Moore at QB? If we make the playoffs will you still want Fox gone?

Not to mention, Fox is a overall good "coach". Before him we SUCKED. The only problem with him is the whole Delhomme alliance and hopefully with Moore doing so well he will see the light. One thing i'd hate to see is him leaving, and we getting a awful coach that tears a great team apart.

We're getting our wish. The big cat agrees that Fox should return, at least for the 10' season.

The D did struggle early on, like Fiz said going through training camp without pretty much our best players on D and trying to get a new system down was pretty tough, they started out bad but have improved week to week.

Kemo IMO is still better then any DT on the roster currently, but thats only if he comes back 100% which I dont think will happen with him being that big and having that injury.

but yeah Jake starting past week 3 was an awful Idea. ( week 1 really but lets say you have to give him the benefit of the doubt and give him a game or two to turn it around )

Injuries are no excuse for this season.

The sole reason this season can be tossed away is QB play and Coaching.

Philly: Who knows how this game turns out if Jake doens't wet the bed

Dallas: Conservative playcalling in 2nd half, along with Delhomme's inability to complete a pass on third down

Buffalo: Jake Delhomme

NY Jets: Jake Delhomme

The only games I believe we should have lost were: New Orleans, Atlanta, New England, and Miami....and we were in all these games, we were just beaten

you can throw Philly in there if you like, but I still think had we not turned the ball over 6 times we would have been in the game

    • Valid, and throw in that what Wilson and Smith did is not out of the ordinary for a WCO
    • Darnold was pretty bad until last year.  He implodes mentally, its just what he does.  To this day I dont have a problem with letting him walk.   Baker is a bit different.  He was an ass in Cleveland and they couldnt deal with his poo, but he at least had talent and went to the playoffs.  So you know he could play at least.  There were different stories coming out from the time he got here, competing with Sam and then the practice team release fiasco.  Both good and bad.  Some say he was a good teammate others say he bitched behind the scenes.   From what it appears his wife has worked with him and he calmed down and his play has reflected that.  Tampa loves him.  So if we were going to keep one it probably should have been him but man he was really bad for us.  But to his defense he didnt get the first team reps until late into camp.     In obvious hindsight we should have signed Baker cheap, drafted a dude and let the cards play out, but you know the rest of the story and now we are going to have to watch bryce for 2 more years
    • Again his one year calling plays happened to be Baker's lowest YPA not counting his split year hear.  That tells me he was less aggressive with a QB who likes to be aggressive.  We have that and almost 2 full years of Bryce Ball here in Carolina.  He will take some deeps shots as most offenses have to in order to keep the defense honest.  Quick passes and hopeful YAC.  I'll give you one guess to which year Rachaad White had the most receptions as TB's RB?  Remember the first thing he wanted to do here is focus on how quickly he wanted to get the ball out.  That's part of his recipe to help QBs and help his OL.  Run the ball, quick passes to hopefully players in space, sprinkle in a little PA.   So yeah you can look at some coaches he learned under and speculate, but I am telling you what he literally is doing and has done as a play caller.  Offenses that were and are 100% his baby.
