Sorry, but word is (and I'm sure we'll hear more on it soon) that Stewart aggravated his eternally-troublesome Achilles. That is why Stewart was pulled from the game, and we aren't all stupid for believing so.

Yep. Seem like injury finally caught up with him for good this time, but at least it over & no Playoffs. Hopefully he won't have this problem again next season like we heard he has many times this year.

lol-- Fox basically sat Williams to LET stewart get the 1100-- if you dont think that, then why the hell was he BENCHED after reaching that goal...

Dont be stupid

Seriuosly? I know that you are a big time Williams nut-hugger but come on man. You honestly believe that Fox benched Williams just so Stewart could get 1100 yds? The coach that is possibly fighting to perserve his job benches his most explosive weapon just to set a record that will never really be associatted with him? Get real.

Thanks people for understanding me. I was simply saying that Stewart had a better year than Williams, and I think that is big props to him considering he isn't the full time starter. I just think it is amazing how this year our back ups have came in and preformed equal to or better (Moore) than the starters

Congrats to both backs. Congrats to the O-Line. Sorry rmoney, I think some people are angry that we aren't in the playoffs. We all know Stewart statistically had more yards than Williams, although I do agree Williams would have dominated if he didn't get injured. But seriously, I think it's awesome to break a sweet record at 1,100 each. Get off this guy and look forward to next year!

Congratulations to both backs on great years. I really hope the Panthers keep both of them because they are going to be a dynamic force for years to come. This has been a very strange season, but if we can pull it together for more than just the last three games next year this team is going to be very very good.
