I watched the Dymamite new years eve show from Japan and it was a very good show. It was Dream vs Sengoku and the fights were tied 4 to 4 with the last match being the Dream champ vs the WVR champ. It was Shinya Aoki vs Mizuto Hirota. Aoki is awesome at submissions and just an fyi he has signed with Strikeforce. For those that want to jump ahead, go to about the 2:25 mark.

99.964583% of the time I say NEVER tap. But thas big head alpha tough guy talk. First dont get in a position where you have to tap. Secong know your limit, which is difficult. All sort of emotions, hormones, chemicals are following leading up to and during a fight, so its hard to know whats YOUR limit is. Cause during training its here, but in a fight its there. Be smart about it, plus it falls on the ref as well. Some tough guys need a profession ref to step in and save a fight for serve injury. Terrible ref job.

and i hope that loser gets embarrassed, hes unprofessional after many of his fights. reminds me of money mayweather.

Aoki may be the best submission guy in MMA. He says that he is a hitman for Dream and would have torn the guys arm off if the ref didnt stop the fight. Aoki did apoligize after the fight for giving the guy the straight finger a few times but didnt regret breaking the guys arm one bit.

for a guy that fights under 200lbs, im some what aware of aoki(not a fan of midgets fighting). I just know he is VERY emotional win or lose after his fights. Thats very unprofessional and he addicted to that feeling cause he does it over and over. It shows hes not in control. Either dock his pay until he learns or put him against a fighter that will humble him.

he shouldn't apologize for breaking his arm, its a fight and theres going to be breaks sometime. again it falls on the ref some and fighters with respect for other fighter may tell the ref thats its about to break etc..

    • I'm super excited about the guys we're getting back, and fortunately this year, outside of Robert Hunt, we haven't had any season-threatening injuries. Rico has earned the start, but I am excited to have both available.  The team is finally turning into the run-first team Canales said he wanted to be. As for JT Sanders, I think he has lost the most be being out. He is probably our best receiving TE, but with the emergence of Mitchell Evans & with him and Tommy Tremble both absolutely balling in run blocking, it will be hard to fix something that isn't broken. I'm hoping Turk Wharton can help with our pass rush. We really havent gotten to see him much due to injuries, but we desperately need anyone to provide some pass rush juice, which is what he was brought to do. I'm the most excited about Jalen Coker returning. Theilen may have been the most clutch last year, but I've watched a lot of film, and Coker was the most consistent WR we had when he was out there last year.  I think he can be an ideal #2 to Tmac. While Coker doesn't have the raw athleticism XL does, his route running, savvy, and overall football IQ simply make him better.  I think with the fact Coker can play both outside and in the slot will give our pass game more versatility.  We have been running a lot of 2 TE sets, and I think Tmac & Coker should be the primary WRs for 12 personnel. The other WRs (XL, Tremayne, Renfrow, & Horn) all have roles, but I dont think any of them can fully replace what Coker can do. I do think Renfrow will be inactive this week if everyone is healthy bc of how valuable Tremayne is for ST and as a run blocker. So happy that we are playing meaningful football heading into November. We are still almost certainly a year away, but we are absolutely moving in the right direction
