Were the Eagles sandbagging?

JRock will actually say no (to a point).....not only did they have a bye week to gain they were also playing for the NFL East title.

I think the Eagles came out, got punched in the mouth, couldn't respond and decided to lay low to fight another day and not give away any gameplan after it was obvious they were not the better team on that field.

I don't think they had any intention of sandbagging and Dallas just kicked their a$$ from the beginning.

I think you will see a much more complex gameplan on both sides of the ball on Sunday, but the Cowboys are the better team. Doesn't matter though, it is Cowboys vs. Eagles and the Eagles will come ready to play. If the Cowboys get up early again, we are in trouble. I just wish we still had Dawkins for moments like this.

Go Birds!

Should be a much closer game this weekend, and while the Cowboys do seem to be playing better football, the Eagle have the experience, for the most part.

I am a little nervous about the Eagles' young WR's, and if Westbrook can be close to 100%.

Losing the starting center right before playoffs doesn't help either. Plus if you ask me we have been over achieving since losing our #1 and #2 MLB and rotating people in and out all year. That and not having 3/5ths of our offensive line almost all year. It really is amazing how much they have been able to accomplish. We are hurting in the trenches and that is where playoff games are won.

Doesn't matter though...it's put up or shut up time and these are the hated Cowboys. I think we have a decent chance to win because I will take an Andy Reid coached team over a Wade Phillips coached team in the playoffs any day. I think Andy Reid is 7-0 in first round payoff games but I could be wrong.

I miss the old days when the Cowboys actually had people on the team that I wanted to get hit by a bus like Michael Irvin. Yeah, I cheered when the Eagles ended his career at the Vet.......now it is just sports hate for the players which isn't nearly as fun.

Not sure I could handle hearing sh*t from their fans for the next year if they do beat us. Especially from Cowboy fans that don't live in, or have never been to Dallas...they are the worst.

    • To be fair that 2015 team had a lot of guys from a roster that had went 12-4 in 2013 and made the playoffs and one playoff game in 2014 and we had a lot of talent.   still I do think we are heading up and should be better than last year. The only question is how much better?   I do think Bryce will be better. More experience and a better WR group should help. XL is the one I’m not as confident about. He played poorly last season but I do think that if he can just fix the drops then he can be a solid wr. He seems to know what his problem was and worked on it. Hopefully he will improve. He admitted that he didn’t work as hard as he should have last year and I think that could mean he has focused hard this year. We will soon see.
    • To be fair I do recall us running the ball a lot so it’s hard to get those numbers up.
    • Can't do it, I'm a monogamous fan
