Would you like to see him on the Panthers? He is 33 and is obviously a great QB. I for one would like to see him here to compete*. Might cost us alot, haven't researched any of that. Just going off a blurb I read in the Observer that he might be out of Phily.

(*This kind of blows up King T's "Nobody in Charlotte wants a black QB!!!11!!" hypothesis, but whatever.)

He's done as much in the postseason as Jake Delhomme...which isn't much. I'd rather not sell our future AGAIN to get an aging QB. Even though I think McNabb could play another 5 years, I'd rather not get stuck in a rut of going out and taking every other team's high priced table scraps.

the past 10 seasons.....the Eagles have had a losing record 1 time.

the past 10 seasons.....the Eagles have made the playoffs 8 times.

I would gladly take McNabb. Many of those seasons he has had a medicore group of WRs and questionable offensive playcalling.

McNabb has been leaving Philly for the last decade. As long a Reid is coach McNabb isn't going anywhere.

I tend to agree but one thing that is different is that as of now McNabb would be entering into the final year of his contract. I am not so sure he would be willing to play in the last year of his contract with the risk of injury. That is not something QB's normally do is it?

I would love to see McNabb come to Carolina. I want him to do well and I think he would be a good fit here in Charlotte and as a Philly fan, I am ready for the Kolb era to begin. I want a championship and the McNabb/Reid led Eagles is not going to do that.

    • Yeah lol well the interest isn’t really about seeking stimulation.  I wanted to see how actually bad it was.  And how much of it was women setting him up to be their cash cow.  That is the stuff that leveraged the Panthers into David Tepper’s hands. It is important in that sense.     The worst that I have heard is that he got them in the car and clumsily reached across to help them with their seat belt and made contact. With his arm. That was probably his big slick move. And I can almost guarantee he wasn’t rejected every time. It is easy to picture that action bringing his head close enough to the woman’s head to where he could go in for the kiss if he thought he got the green light.    I really don’t care if JR was a horn dog. We heard all our lives up until the last few years that one of the perks of being really old is that you can flirt with the young women and it is not just tolerated but expected. So he was keeping a tradition alive at some point 😂
    • Well I rubbed some dirt on it and am still here just not optimistic about the future of the QB position. Even what I had accepted as a ceiling raised to an acceptable level turned out to be a bit of a mirage, upon rewatch of the WC game.  Good plays were there yes, but some pretty bad ones too that the good ones late in the game kind of obscured. I have to downgrade that a little.  Especially after rewatching the last 4 plays. I remember the arguments about he did his job the WRs didn’t but that was really just that last muff by Coker I think it was on our final offensive play.   To the future: I know what my level is for paying him and recommitting, but I don’t have any confidence that the team shares my high bar.    But thanks for the pep talk
