He is not as well liked/respected in the locker room as you may think.

Ah, I see. Is he one of those guys that likes to hang brains on other dudes mouth pieces and secretly puts curls on teammates tooth bushes? Hehe, times, good times. Uh, um, I digress......I hate those kind of guys. It would be funny to have him put Ben-Gay in Jakes jock strap though.

I don't see McMabb leaving Philly. And now with Matt and the love affair Fox/Hurney have with Jake and the money owed him. Why would we waste more money on another QB to sit down? Nah, If McNabb were to leave, he won't leave to come to Carolina.

But would McNabb be willing to play out that final year with no extension? At his age and the chance of injury, I am sure he wants to go into next season with some type of security contract wise. He might be the one asking for the trade if they are not willing to extend him. I dunno, I will just sit back and see what they do.

I dunno either. With 2011 sitting out there as a possible lockout, I wonder how many players are not going to be given long contracts, We might a lot of 1 year deals this offseason or at least provisions for the lockout. It seems to have thrown a lot of uncertainty in all this.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
