Del Rio is prepping a staff for the USC job if HE is allowed out of his contract by Wayne Weaver.

This is another longshot, but expect Fox to be linked to a possible Jaguars opening if one should open up. This possibility makes more sense than most of the other places Fox has been linked to.

He would be going to another small-market, boring team with little pressure to win by a huge, demanding fanbase. Another town with a weak media. And, most importantly, he would be able to draft Jake Delhomme 2.0: The Golden Calf of Bristol.

Fox will be linked to every team until there are no more teams no link him to. Oakland and the Jags today...but that may be it. I don't think any more coaches will be on the hot seat this offseason and hopefully we can put an end to this drama.

I'm leaning towards Fox stays in Carolina for 2010; the Giants go down in flames in 2010 and try to get Fox to replace Coughlin. I don't like it, but that makes the most sense.

I said on another thread that the USC job could be Fox's ticket out of town. Just had the wrong connection. (I said Fisher instead of Del Rio.)

BTW. I'm not saying I want Fox gone but it sure looks like the FO wouldn't mind seeing him leave. With them saying publicly that they would let him out of the last year of his contract and not extending him, this says that he's available for the taking.
