Given how the rules have changed so much to help the offense, I can't think of any defensive players I'd bring back. Another good possibility would be Gale Sayers, he was the most complete player of his era, in that he was dangerous and a game breaker as a RB, a receiver, and as a kick returner. He's in the HOF with the fewest games played for a reason. It's scary to think of the numbers he would have put up had he remained healthy. Just like it's scary to think what Unitas could have done in today's era, where QBs are protected more than any other players, the rules favor the offense in all aspects.
