Fitterer’s “first real offseason”

Let’s get a good look of his this offseason of his post Rhule

setting aside the QB/Bryce Young trade up and pick.

Here is his offseason

FA:

Theilen- Hit, been solid thus far.  And Really our only threat in the receiving game.

Miles Sanders- Miss.  Sanders was the highest paid FA RB this FA in the NFL.  Right now.  Chubba looks by far and away our best RB.  Sanders only has 1 game with more than 7 touches where he avg over 3.1 yards per carry.  While we have a Texans fan visiting our board telling us how “Putrid” Their run game is because they are avg 3.2 ypc

Hayden Hurst- ?  Hurst is barely noticeable thus far.  Only time we’ve seen him is when he is celebrating getting open for a 4 yard catch.  Or Whiffing a block like Yesterdays 4th down fake punt.  Where Viska probably would’ve got it if Hurst put a hand on his guy.

Vonn Bell- has been ok, but nothing Special

Justin Houston- didn’t realize he was still on the team until I checked the snap counts this morning.  Where he had less snaps than DJ Johnson and only 7 more than Barno.

Draft:

Rd 2- Mingo: Despite playing the most snaps out of all the WRs this season.  He isn’t noticeable.  Per the next gen stats.  He is dam near the bottom in the NFL in Separation.  Meanwhile guys like Tank Dell and Josh Downs are gettin open and showing life on their teams despite being taken a rd later.  Sam Laporta taken a few spots before him looking like a future Stud TE

Rd 3- DJ Johnson: was looked at as a reach at the time.  Which by the way, the 2 picks used for him via trade, Were 2 of the picks acquired in the CMC trade.

Johnson was a healthy scratch through the first few weeks.  And video clips have surfaced of him getting manhandled by pretty much practice squad OL in practice.

4th- Zavala: even though a 4th rd pick.  Zavala graded out as one of the worst starting OL in NFL History.  Making the Michael Jordans, Dennis Daleys, and Cam Ervings of the world look like all pros.

5th rd: Jammie Robinson- with all the safeties hurt. He’ll get a chance right?

Wrong. We went with guys off the street to come right in and start right away and play 94% of the snaps instead of letting this guy some pt.  That’s all you need to know how he’s looked thus far in practice.

F-. Pick whatever reasons you want there are so many.

He proved why so many said he wasn't good enough or deserved a shot at being a 'full time' GM. That guy is Rhule or Tepper quality level GM.

The money spent on some of these guys that carry void years is ridiculous

Chark and Houston each have cap hits of over 3 million next season

Then we have the ridiculous contract given to Shy f’n Tuttle

Look at this year and his past years and tell me what is really different? Either he is a yes man or he is just a pile of suck, either way he does an awful job.

Trades, roster building, contracts, drafting...where is he not an F in skills?

Any GM could have signed Thielen. That’s his only plus. Fitts needs to be gone this weekend and Tepper needs to hire a team president who will actually tell him no and be football focused so we can get a good GM.

I agree and part of why he’s still here is because he’s part yes man but he’s literally missed on everything. Enough is enough he has to go

For every small plus there are multiple huge negatives. Old coached up guy in his twilight years in the NFL. Throw in Dalton lol. Look at the younger guys he considers buildable peices to the roster. It's so bad.

The only real question is he just terrible or is he just doing whatever he is told?

If you are just replacing him with a clone then keep him until tepper gives up. No yes man coming here is going to do better when Tepper is in chage of the yes part. Until Tepper is thoroughly embarrassed and exhausted by losing there is no real reason for hope. That is just guaranteed hearbreak.

He still has his supporters in here who are now on a it’s all Tepper or Tepper’s wife’s fault movement. He’s been terrible since day 1. I have no doubt Rhule was influential on decisions but those crappy reaches with trade ups and terrible signings while wasting money have carried on without Rhule.

Dude has single handedly traded away almost two drafts of value plus CMC/Moore for Young, CJ, DJ Johnson, Corral, Darnold and Baker. He just didn’t want to get 3 firsts and 1 second last year for Moore and Burns. SMH.
