If you were to ask a bunch of NFL GMs to evaluate the two, I kinda doubt you'd find many who'd put a higher value on Montez Sweat than Brian Burns, especially given the context of their situations.

Sweat is a complete defensive lineman. Burns is strictly a pass rusher.

He had 1300 yards last year. Our OL is atrocious. Could sell it as a relatively friendly contract to a running back needy team.

I also don't think he's fully healthy. Not sure he has been all season.

As to Hurst, recent analysis stated that Adam Theilen being so good in the slot is taking away a lot of the catches that might otherwise go to a tight end.

Tremble did well last game, but Tremble isn't so much replacing Hurst as he is Ian Thomas.

Holy poo. 😲

RapSheet said earlier he thought Young still might go even after the Sweat trade.

Previous reports had Rivera owning final say on roster decisions, but it's hard to imagine him being on board with this.

Really starting to look like his days are numbered.

    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
    • I think a lot of us are feeling this way, enough is enough. There is absolutely no reason to subject the fans of your team to another full season of Bryce fuging Young. I already don't watch like I used to,I miss games and don't even care. Before I was always at the games or in my recliner when the game started now what's the point. Bryce won't have more than 50 yards passing by halftime anyway.   It's crazy how we watch these other teams dump a trash QB quickly yet here we are in year 3 still hoping he will get better, news flash,he won't. I'm not down for year 4,wake me up if we ever decide to replace the mistake.  fug it I can spend more time with my family or making money, fug Tepper.
