Luvu without Burns will receive double teams. Be careful what you ask for. Burns is on every teams gameplan. Luvu is not.

Tell me you don't know football without telling me you don't know football  ^^^^^^^^^^^

Teams are going to double team a MLB who only occasionally rushes the passer on blitzes?!?!

Literal nonsense comment

Well, that's the problem, it's clear he's not going away and I just can't stand to read some of the most asinine takes I've ever seen on a message board without calling them out, and that's saying something, I've seen some horrific suggestions on boards in the past.

But you're also right, I'm pretty sure he's a kid, no way he's older than say 20ish, grew up on Madden and doesn't understand how real football is played or executed from a front office standpoint.

Not my money to spend, and there are lots and lots of places in this team that money or picks could be spent. Don't forget that Burns is the only consistent source of pass rush, and somewhere down the line, resources will have to be put towards it. I know we all like to bicker about this like it's paying our bills, but you aren't beating the best teams in the NFL by relying on blitzes.

I will be 34 next month.

Once again you guys start insulting posters when someone doesn't have the same opinion as you. Yall are the kids. Either talk football or STFU!

That Mr.Comp11 guy is in his 60's and all he does is go around insulting posters that don't agree with him.

You also aren't beating the best teams in the NFL if you can't put up points

You're right, resources need to be put into pass rushing, but with what we spent to get Bryce, his development is not only the #1 priority of this franchise right now, it's also the #2, 3, 4, 5 priority right now.

If he busts because we can't give him the weapons he needs, then it's all for naught and having a high priced pro bowl caliber pass rusher won't mean jack squat.

Bad NFL teams aren't fixed overnight or in one offseason, they take time to build them up properly

And an elite pass rusher is what you need to put teams over the top into SB contention, not to help rebuild around a rookie QB with questionable physical attributes.

No, I don't insult posters who have different opinions

I insult specific posts that don't have realistic opinions based on things like available players, salary cap, and a reasonable understanding of how NFL teams can operate and build a roster.

And wow, the fact that you're 34 is surprising to me, you probably should have just let us assume you were a kid, you got more of a pass thinking that.

It's a difficult balance to be certain. I think a pass rusher is a premium position. QB, LT and DE. If you have those set, you have a chance. Otherwise, it's a pretender. I think it gets down to a method of building the lines first, and then look at the other pieces. I'm not a gm, nor claim to be. Just my observations of what works usually in the NFL.

Talk football bro.

I don't care for your personal life.

How did we go from football talk to my age?
