Huddle flag football league anyone??

So now that football season is about wrapped up there are a few hours I have free on Sundays and thought that starting up a flag football league ( even it's just enough people for two teams) would be a fun way to pass the time... I would say we would need at least 10 people to commit for it to be a fun game, but the more the better. I would would want to play in the Charlotte area so this might be just for the people in the area but if you wanted to drive from whereever you are to play that would be fine but I don't really expect that to happen.. I was just kicking the idea around and would like to get your thoughts..

This topic is always thrown around but in the end it never seems to get done because of the varying locations of Huddle members.

Yeaaaa I thought that might be a big reason why this wouldn't happen

Only if it's tackle football.

lol I'm on my feet alot at work I can't afford to get injured, haha

I would own all of you. Sadly, I cannot drive to Charlotte every week. Maybe once, maybe do a tournament instead of a league?

yea that's a real good idea!

lets do it. it could be at a public park like the one of exit 44 on 485 (mint hill) or perhaps freedom park in downtown (of east blvd)

i played flag football at ymca 2 seasons now and its really worth it.

we can make a poll for locations and which ever one wins, wins.

start the body count.

i'm in.

who else.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
