If Bryce Young stays on his current pace of play for the rest of the year  I’m taking a QB in the 2nd round

Give me Rattler idgaf. At least he has an arm

We have to build some sort of offense for any QB. Might as well get some weapons/protection and give Young next year. If he struggles again he will land us Sanders in 2025 and we should have something for him to work with.

We're genuinely not in a position to throw Draft picks away chasing a QB.

Pick up the best FA QB and use your Draft picks to strengthen the miserable roster.

We could have drafted him without even trading up. I will say most people on here wouldn’t have liked that pick. I can live with that over not taking Stroud at 1. Levis was a bit of a gamble, Stroud wasn’t.

This. I didn't like Levis. At all. I still think he'll make the transition to Darnold 2.0 over time but we'll see.

Stroud was much more of a proven commodity

I don't pay much attention at all to national sports media but it really does feel like they aren't really getting anywhere near the attention that they should be.

Exactly what I have been thinking. No one is talking about them but they are steadily getting better every week and are racking up good wins.

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
