Watch the vid -- it doesn't insinuate "biggest".  From an urban planning perspective, Charlotte has one of the worst examples of sprawl gone wrong but they've been correcting.  Vid title is a bit click-baity.

Yeah I watch a lot of his stuff. His voice though ... wow. I'd think LA and Jacksonville are two of the biggest. And yes, Charlotte's is wrong on so many levels. Lived there 18 years and I was always ... this is Charlotte of the 1970s trying to house Charlotte of the 00s.

As a land developer 'sprawl' is a mixed word.

Sprawl is usually referred in a negative way as it insinuates things being spread out and being ineffective. But I would argue that most citys that are not land locked against a mountain or ocean need to accept sprawl because people dont want to build up.

A land planners wet dream would be to have an entire city only take up 1 square mile and be 1 mile in elevation but thats not the reality for most cities in North America.

Anyone who thinks any eastern city sprawls has clearly not been to a city like Denver or Phoenix. The Denver and Charlotte metro area have similar population sizes while the Charlotte metro area is roughly 3000 square miles and the Denver metro area is closer to 8500.

It's not shear size.  Having lived in Denver, Southern Cal, DC/Nova, & Chicago, it's a multitude of factors.  Sprawl classification has many facets.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
