Now I would have a different opinion if basically the FSU season wasn't over once they lost Jordan Travis.

If FSU gets in being the team that plays them in the semifinals is gonna be a HUGE advantage for someone. They immediately became the favorites to win simply by having a glorified bye to the championship game.

I have no dog in the fight, but I think most of us forget that FSU still has their defense. And it's pretty good.

The committee should just troll us all and put Ohio St in. One loss, wasn't allowed to play in their title game, and it'd make the TX/GA/Bama argument moot lol.

It's a good defense but it isn't an elite defense, even by FSU standards. To overcome their lack of a QB, they will need truly elite defensive play.

I don't.

Bama is a maybe but have them at 5 behind FSU.  

Michigan & Wash are locks.  I think Texas is surefire #3.  It's between Bama and FSU for 4..and I lean FSU

You can argue all you want that TX beat Bama ... but TX didn't beat GA. And yeah, Bama beat GA. They all have a claim. TX has the worst loss though. What a headache. I just don't see how you drop GA that far down in the rankings. I think TX and Bama get left out.

FSU may not have their QB, but I'd be very interested to see how McCarthy does against that defense.  They weren't world beaters against Iowa.
