His coaching tree is just as terrible as his drafting.

Bill Belichick’s coaching tree compared to Carolina’s recent coaches, lol.

Bill O’Brien

Romeo Crennel

Joe Judge

Al Groh

Eric Mangini

Nick Saban

Brian Flores

Brian Dabol

Matt Patricia

Josh McDaniels

Whats the Matt Rhule coaching tree look like?

About the same as those guys.

Putting it another way: Matt Rhule's coaching tree has as many Super Bowl wins as Bill Belichick's.

Methinks thou hast missed the point 😕

I’m definitely not a Belichick fan, but comparing his coaching tree to what we’ve experienced lately?

Carolina needs something extreme right now, and if it means bringing in a Harbaugh/Belichick/Bill O’Brien type for a couple years then so be it.

Don't care about extreme.

What we need most is "smart".

I'd add that Belichick minus prime Tom Brady is nothing special.

Bro, Belichick has 8 Super Bowl rings and is widely regarded as the GOAT.  (You just used Super Bowl wins as your criteria, for the record).

We don’t even have a COACH right now.

Again, I’ve always rooted against that man but good lord…you’re telling me Bill Belicheck is not an upgrade over Reich, Tabor, Wilks, Rivera, and Matt Rhule?

The current version of Bill Belichick? The guy who believed that Joe judge could coach quarterbacks and Matt Patricia could be an offensive coordinator?

No, I don't think that version is what we need. Even if he were an upgrade over what we have, it's still just an upgrade to mediocrity.

    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
    • I don't really care about your post at all. I just saw the direction of the discussion and this snippet from an article I read earlier in the day was a good spot to put non-Panthers info. I mostly don't care about the players personal lives. That's off the field/personal poo. Not really any of my business.  I also don't know him personally so what would be the point of congratulating him outside basically attempting to draw attention to myself like so many in the social media/internet realm.
