Who broke Svech’s MCL and torn his ACL last year, it was Vegas wasn’t it?

I see that rib shot. He’s been waiting a long time for that shot.

Svech has mauled some dudes on the boards, wow. Really impressed with his game today, flashes of last season before the injury. I have seen the boards sway 3 or 4 times so far this game.

I missed the game, but glad to hear the new equipment is really helping Svech's game!

Must be a secret power I did the samw

I had a schedule conflict with the wife. I could have watched most of the game over my shoulder or ducking out to check my phone, but decided just to keep an eye on my phone occasionally and discreetly.

I may watch the replay today or just the highlight reel.

It’s definitely worth a skim to see the Staal shutdown and Pyotrs play. Besides the 2 garbage goalies he was rock solid.

The first garbage time was his fault, it hit the heel of his glove weird and rolled down 5 hole. He’s gotta be a little more alert on it. But I get it’s hard to see a black puck on a black jersey and he lost track of it.

The second garbage time our guys in front of him just stopped playing. Bad mistake totally not on him. KK didn’t stick to his guy and left Pyotr without any defense.

All in all it should have been 6-2.

Great game to be at...I was wondering about that second goal...looked like it went right into the glove lol. He saw it...caught it and it dribbled down. Pyotr was LIGHTS OUT last night. Place was buzzing too...good to send those Vegas fans packing.

It hits the heel of his glove and instead of rolling in it rolled out because the angle of shot and his glove motion. Then it trickled down black puck on black jersey, nobody knew where it was. When it doubt turtle up, lesson learned. To defend that shot if he has rotated his wrist a little more in it would have been a clean glove save.

    • Another source: NFL Rumors: Hakeem Butler to Visit Panthers After UFL Success, Wade Phillips' Praise ZACH BACHAR JUNE 10, 2024 The Carolina Panthers are expected to conduct a workout with UFL wide receiver Hakeem Butler, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Butler recorded a league-leading 652 receiving yards as a member of the St. Louis Battlehawks. He was previously a fourth-round draft pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. After the Battlehawks were defeated by the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL Conference title game, Brahmas head coach and longtime NFL coach Wade Phillips told the receiver that "I'm going to tell everybody in the NFL that I talk to that you need to be playing," via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. Despite the loss by St. Louis, Butler still hauled in six receptions for a team-high 59 receiving yards. The 28-year-old was named the 2024 UFL Offensive Player of the Year, as he was one of only two wideouts to have multiple games with at least 100 receiving yards. While the Panthers added Diontae Johnson and first-round rookie Xavier Legette to their wide receiver room in the offseason, they could still use some depth in the form of Butler. Carolina isn't opposed to picking up former UFL players, as Rapoport revealed on Thursday that the team is also "expected" to sign All-UFL receiver Daewood Davis. Although Butler was selected by the Cardinals in the 2019 draft, he did not play as a rookie due to a hand injury and only appeared in two regular-season games as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020. He did not record a catch. Butler signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2023 offseason, although he ultimately didn't make the team's regular-season roster. At 6'5", he has the frame to potentially make an impact in training camp and earn a shot at making Carolina's 53-man roster. If his workout goes well with the Panthers, Butler could give himself another chance to possibly return to the NFL.
