You think Weatherspoon is going to be there in round 2 when the Panthers pick? I think if this guy drops to 32, the Saints will grab him, but I'm not convinced he will even make it that far.

There are alot of aging veterans on the market now. If no one makes a play for them, they could be had latter on the cheap. We may be able to bring Diggs back cheaper.

Not saying it will play out this way, but stranger things have happened.

In reference to Weatherspoon. He is falling down draft boards because he is a locker room cancer.. the guy can not shut up. On and off the field. Several scouts at the combine said "I don't want that guy in my locker room".. it's bad. He has got one big mouth and immaturity is a MAJOR concern. I'll pass.

He is a talker... but it isn't negative things he is saying...

He is sliding because he wasn't as productive last year as he has been, and there are questions about his quickness...

He'd be perfect to bring in with Davis and Beason, and they'd get him into shape pretty damn quick...

I don't see him sliding out of round 1 though. And I don't see any team trading with Carolina and giving up their first this year for a pick next year that might not exist if there is no football (admittedly unlikely, but still).

Plus, aren't ya'll sick of throwing away next year's draft for this year's?

Even if there is a draft, if theres no football you have to wait a whole year to get those players on the field. Id rather get an impact guy this year (Weatherspoon could be one) then chance that.
