Feely to the rams.

Free agent QB A.J. Feeley will visit with the Rams and is expected to sign there, a league source tells Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.

Feeley would be an interesting fit for the Rams. He knows offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur from their time together in Philadelphia and can play in the West Coast offense. With Matt Moore being handed the gig in Carolina, Feeley likely sees St. Louis as a place he could compete to start.

If they get rid of Bulger and go with Bradford at #1, Feeley may be a bridge starter until Bradford's ready.

this, I dont see why people are upset about this. Feeley could help groom Clausen or Bradford into a good starting QB. if he signs with them and they draft clausen or bradford, he'll start about 5 games then one of them will take over

Not that I care in particular about Feeley, but uh our roster is growing scarcer by the hour it seems like. I know Fox and Hurney like to build through the draft, but we are going to have to make a couple moves in free agency. I'm getting kind of worried that Fox is just ripping this team apart so the next head coach can start from scratch. Kinda worried....

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
