Burning my Peppers jersey at the bears game

I was thinking about what I could do with my Peppers jersey. I decided I will just frame it and remember the good times. I know he is a traitor but he is still the best defensive player we have ever had. I will remember the good times and wish him well in his future endeavors.

However, I hope he contracts syphilitic pneumonia then breaks his leg when he plays us this year.

He is a traitor because he left his home state and team I love. Dont give me the "its a business" crap either. He will always be a traitor to me. And he did stop producing in 07 and we offered his the largest contract ever for a defensive player. We didnt drop him we rewarded him.

it is business ure takin it too personal. I would never hate on another man gettin money in sports. Sports aint the place to put your feelings in, they're cut throat and dont give a fug about anyone. Thats why I laugh when players say "whats good for the team"

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
