It's still early no doubt.

Right now it's a matter of optics. One of the worst rookie QB seasons of the last few decades. Coaches people in the front office fired. But looks like business as usual for the top overall selection who has always had the best available around him and people to build him up.

We as fans can dismiss it. But you can bet your ass some of the teams on our upcoming schedule are taking note.

I'm not going to judge his offseason based on a 2 second clip of him walking no matter what it looks like.

It’s the Huddle. They formed a whole Nicole conspiracy based on a picture of her hugging Bryce. It’s just what they do now…

If he's had over 3 months to think about how his first stint as a professional athlete went despite all the hype that surrounded him initially after playing for Alabama I don't see much changing in another 3 months.

Some people only know coping now. It's understandable given the history of our franchise. But that's still all it is.

The repetitive negative takes from some are still coping mechanisms.

Only here on the huddle has acknowledging reality become only negativity and or hate.

What does that mean? Is there no middle ground where you can say Bryce has some aspects of gameplay to improve on but at the same time saying that expecting him to come Into the season at 210lbs is stupid?

I'm not reading all that.  Just put me on ignore and be done with it

The sad thing is that it was not an insult your way at all. I was just curious and concerned due to having a similar issue many years is all. I don't put anybody on ignore. Forget I even asked then. Sorry to have bothered you.

Last time I checked he needs to improve every aspect of his game play and physical conditioning. I bet he also didn't take any baseball sliding lessons during the offseason

It is when you are incapable of having any discussion beyond the repetitive.

We know by now that Bryce Young is small. That will never change.

Nothing wrong with acknowledging reality but thousands of posts and all negative, sad, despair makes me wonder why even show up to a board like this if it promotes that much sorrow? As far as Bryce goes the reality is odds are against him that he will turn this all around and yep his size and more importantly his arm strength is a concern. Doesn't mean I'm going to sit around negative for the rest of my days though.

    • I'm super excited about the guys we're getting back, and fortunately this year, outside of Robert Hunt, we haven't had any season-threatening injuries. Rico has earned the start, but I am excited to have both available.  The team is finally turning into the run-first team Canales said he wanted to be. As for JT Sanders, I think he has lost the most be being out. He is probably our best receiving TE, but with the emergence of Mitchell Evans & with him and Tommy Tremble both absolutely balling in run blocking, it will be hard to fix something that isn't broken. I'm hoping Turk Wharton can help with our pass rush. We really havent gotten to see him much due to injuries, but we desperately need anyone to provide some pass rush juice, which is what he was brought to do. I'm the most excited about Jalen Coker returning. Theilen may have been the most clutch last year, but I've watched a lot of film, and Coker was the most consistent WR we had when he was out there last year.  I think he can be an ideal #2 to Tmac. While Coker doesn't have the raw athleticism XL does, his route running, savvy, and overall football IQ simply make him better.  I think with the fact Coker can play both outside and in the slot will give our pass game more versatility.  We have been running a lot of 2 TE sets, and I think Tmac & Coker should be the primary WRs for 12 personnel. The other WRs (XL, Tremayne, Renfrow, & Horn) all have roles, but I dont think any of them can fully replace what Coker can do. I do think Renfrow will be inactive this week if everyone is healthy bc of how valuable Tremayne is for ST and as a run blocker. So happy that we are playing meaningful football heading into November. We are still almost certainly a year away, but we are absolutely moving in the right direction
